Kelly JIOed us to Warung IJO, a popular Indonesian vegetarian restaurant at 337 beach road. It was a Friday. A good day.

Warung in bahasa Indonesian means a small family-owned business, usually a restaurant or convenient store. IJO, I guess like Hijau in Malay, means Green.

85% of Warung IJO's cuisines are vegan, including its veg mock, it said on FB.
The 5 - 6 dishes we ordered were yummy infused with wholesome Indonesian flavour. Check out the pics below.
Kelly would find the familiar taste when she visits Nagoya in Batam, making use of her free 8 nights.
It was a nice outing and a breather outta our piling workload. IJO's quality and serving portion beats Elemen vegetarian restaurant any day 😂
Good recommendation, as usual, from 大姐大

Classic green glass window panes Kelly found near Warung IJO.
